Yemen welcomes Indian investments

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation for Development Plans Omar Abdulghani has affirmed that Yemen welcomes the Indian investments. In a seminar held in Sana'a on Sunday by the Commercial and Industrial Chamber and TALPEL International to introduce the services of the India's RBSA firm, Abdulghani pointed out that the coming of the Indian company to invest in Yemen is a new addition and enhances the economic relations between the two countries.
In the seminar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Iqbal Bahadir confirmed the ministry's support for the company's activities so as to contribute to improve the investment and commercial activity and achieving objectives of the overall economic development in various fields.
For his part, the Indian ambassador to Yemen Shri Amrit Lugun noted to his country's keenness to strengthen the trade and investment relations and economic cooperation with Yemen through providing the necessary facilities for Yemeni businessmen, who are willing to invest in India.
In turn, Director General of the TALPEL International ,Abdul Bari al-Talbi, considered the seminar an embodiment of the interest of the public, private and mixed sectors in the international investments firms that work in accordance with the highest international standards.
Moreover, the Indian company's Director General ,Raji R. Shah, gave a presentation on the services offered by the company, including feasibility studies and developing plans, and building, monitoring and evaluation of projects, as well as introducing businessmen and investors to the investment opportunities both inside and outside Yemen.
