Governor stresses need to remove rain effects

The Governor of Hadramout Salim Ahmed Al-Khanbashi stressed the need to redouble efforts to remove the damage of the rain and flooding such as broken roads and puddles as a result of the latest heavy rain and the intensification of the permanent cleaning of the city. This came in a plenary meeting chaired by the governor in the presence of deputy governor for Technical Affairs Fahid Saeed Almanhali and the Chairman of the Committee for Social Affairs in the local Council Saleh Aboud Alamqi and a host of other officials in the province . the meeting addressed the implementation of the agreements, emergency operations to remove the damage left by the rain and floods in the district in October neighborhood and the city of Mukalla such the water and sewer blockages. The meeting called for lifting waste and accelerate the development of a working mechanism for the reform of asphalt roads in the main streets and surface water drainage, which emerged after the rains and floods . The attendees were prepared to redouble their efforts and to accelerate solving the problem of sewage,puddles and the rehabilitation of roads, as well as to intensify the work of cleaning the city of Mukalla and its environs.
