Rashida al-Handani has said in an interview with Saba that the committee is looking forward to increasing representation of women in the Parliament by means of social awareness and the project of Supporting Women Political Participation which is implemented by the committee under the support of the British embassy in Sana'a. Al-Hamdani affirmed that the projects targets political parties, civil society organizations, Islamic scholars, university students, law people, parliamentarians and women training centers to introduce the legal and constitutional rights of women. She made clear that the 4th National Conference of Women which is expected to be held in March will represent a distinguishing mark in the process of political development of women via adopting the call for applying the quota system which is been wanted for a long time
