The new date of the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Ministerial Committee has been set on 7 – 8 February, well-informed sources affirmed on Thursday.The sources told the weekly 26 September that the committee to be convened in Aden governorate would be co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affaires Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affaires Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah.The committee's meetings will be addressed several issues pertaining to enhance brotherly cooperation ties in the different fields of policy, economy and culture.Yemen and Kuwait has signed an agreement of $ 50 million as a part of the Kuwaiti commitments to Yemen in London Donor Conference that is amounting to $ 200 million.The preparatory committee of the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Ministerial Committee signed initially in Aden on 2nd December a cooperation minute in the technical, development and economic fields.The minute includes forming a joint ministerial committee co-chaired by the two countries Foreign Ministers. The preparatory committee, co-chaired by Undersecretary of Planning and International Cooperation Ministry Hisham Sharaf and the head of the Arab World Department at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Jasem al-Mubarki, suggested 15 new cooperation agreement drafts in several fields such as tourism, education, higher education, technical education, endowment, documentation, trade exchange, diplomacy and security.
