KFAED's contribution to agriculture projects in Yemen reviewed

Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Farid Mujawar met here on Sunday with the team of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) headed by the Fund's Advisor Abdul Rahman Bahman.
The two sides reviewed the Kuwait Fund's contributions to finance the implementation of several projects in Yemen, particularly projects related to the agricultural sector.
The meeting also touched on the aspects of cooperation and support for the areas of agricultural development in Yemen, including the proposal of the rural growth program in the provinces of Ibb and Raymah, which would be financed by the Kuwaiti Fund.
In the meeting, Mujawar affirmed that the agriculture is a safe resource for the food security in Yemen.
The minister noted that there are some projects, which their studies have been prepared and need finance, hoping further support and cooperation to support the agriculture projects in Yemen.
In turn, Bahman confirmed the KFAED's readiness to finance a number of agricultural projects in Yemen, pointing out that the team's visit to Yemen aimed to assess some projects being implemented by the Fund in Yemen.
