Al-Qirbi meets with envoys of the Friends of Yemen

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Tuesday the ambassadors and representatives of member countries and organizations of the Friends of Yemen.
During the meeting, al-Qirbi briefed the envoys on the ongoing preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Friends of Yemen to be held in the British capital London on 29 April.
The minister praised the United Kingdom’s efforts to hold the meeting in London and expressed gratitude for the efforts made by the Saudi Foreign Ministry and the British government to prepare for the meeting.
He stressed the importance of activating the work of the group in the coming period through a new mechanism which will be adopted at the London meeting for responding to the aspirations of the Yemeni people and helping Yemen address various challenges.
