Qatar's developmental support for Yemen discussed

Yemen and Qatar discussed on Tuesday in Doha the developmental projects the Qatari government intends to finance in Yemen, within its contributions to the efforts of reconstruction in Sada and Abyan provinces. This came during a meeting gathered Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Mohammad Al-Sa'adi and the Qatari Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, during which they dealt with the issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to promote it to serve the common interests.
The two sides also discussed how to push the investments forward in the areas of energy and oil and supporting the public works projects and accelerating steps of financing and completing the Hamad Medical City project in Taiz.
In the meeting, Al-Sa'adi commended the diligence shown by the Qatari government in promoting the development paths and stability in Yemen.
In turn, the Qatar Minister asserted the keenness of his country' government to continue to provide all aspects of necessary support to help the Yemeni government to face the economic challenges and the entitlements of the current transitional stage.
