Yemen, China discuss security cooperation

Interior Minister Abdo al-Tarib discussed here on Sunday with Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hua aspects of security cooperation between the two friendly countries. During the meeting, al-Tarib valued the permanent position and assistances the Chinese government provides to support the Yemeni government's efforts to upgrade the security system, particularly in counter-terrorism and organized crime areas.
The Minister affirmed the keenness of Yemen to develop the security cooperation with China to further levels.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador asserted his country's adherence to enhance cooperation with Yemen in security and economic areas.
