Yemen and India discussed here on Tuesday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in health field. This came in a meeting gathered Minister of Public Health and Population Ahmed al-Ansi with Indian ambassador to Yemen Amrit Lugun, who also discussed the cooperation in training Yemeni medical cadres and treating Yemeni patients in India as well as visiting of the Indian medical teams to Yemen.

The meeting discussed the possibility of India to take part in the development process in Socotra Island.
