Yemen, China discuss bilateral relations

Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Hamid Al Awadi reviewed Thursday with the ambassador of China Zhang Hua bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. They discussed the cooperation between the Yemeni Diplomatic Institute and the Chinese Diplomatic Academy as well as the possibility of qualifying 15 Yemeni diplomats in China during the coming period.
They also dealt with the current arrangements for holding the 6th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum next June.
They also reviewed the positive results of the President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi’s visit to China last November, including the expansion of the port of Aden, which will begin this year by the arrival of a Chinese delegation in Aden to start the implementing procedures.
