President Hadi receives leaders from Sana’a

President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Saturday received dignitaries,
members of Parliament and Shura Council, and politicians from Bani
al-Hareth district of the capital Sana’a. During the meeting, Hadi received the attendees, ensuring them that the federal region system adopted by the National Dialogue Conference will give Sana’a great importance and maintain Yemen’s unity, security and stability.
President Hadi asserted that 70 percent of the world’s states are run under federalism, indicating that most of these countries have achieved great progress and development and success.
Hadi said that Yemen has not managed to overcome challenges and crises for 50 years, assuring that the federal system will tackle economic, administrative and development dilemmas.
He emphasized that federalism will facilitate access of people to services, pointing out that the division of Sana’a into 12 security units, will help enforce security across the capital Sana’a.
Hadi praised efforts exerted by the UN Security Council, the five permanent members of the Security Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council, appreciating the Saudi assistance provided to Yemen during the 2011 crisis.
He also detailed a wide range of Yemen’s issues, stressing that unemployment, poverty and recessing economy has posed Yemen’s main impasses.
Hadi highly appreciated Bani al-Harith’s people for their cooperation with the state authorities, directing officials of the local authorities to provide the district with infrastructure and services.
Mayor of the capital Sana’a Abdul-Qader Hilal and other officials of the local authorities delivered speeches in which they commended Hadi’s efforts for the success of the National Dialogue Conference.
They asserted that they will stand by president Hadi, reaffirming that outcomes come up of the NDC would meet the aspirations of all Yemenis.
