SANA’A, June 05 (Saba)- The Attorney General Dr. Ali al-Awash directed
on Wednesday the competent prosecution to act on the case of the
Presidential House Mosque bombing by referring 12 accused to trial in
the case.
Dr. Al-Awash also directed the prosecution to release seventeen from
those who are in custody pending the case and to conduct the trial of
45 accused in other cases.
A judicial source at the Office of the
Attorney General said in a statement Saba that the Attorney General
also ordered to make a supplementary file to those who could not be
heared until the demise of the legal restrictions that prevented the
prosecution from the completion of the investigation and led to the
delay of the disposition in the case.
The source revealed that
the public prosecutor opened an investigation into a complaint filed by
the guardians of the victims who were killed and injured by the
shelling, which they suffered in the Al-Hasaba area in Sana'a at the
beginning of the year 2011.
The source called on all political
forces and the media to cease insulting the judiciary and to respect for
its resolutions and its provisions.
