Yemen endorses April 2013 oil sales

The Supreme Committee on Crude Oil Marketing on Sunday approved the crude oil sales of April 2013, estimated to be 3.9 million barrels. In its meeting chaired by Finance Minister Sakhr al-Wajih, the committee agreed to sell 1.8 million barrels out of the full quantity (2 million barrels) of Masila crude oil to Arcadia Company, which has presented the best bid worth 55 cent a barrel plus Dated Brent.
It approved rescheduling the sale of the Masila oil remaining quantity (200,000 barrels) for May 2013, and authorized the technical committee to offer it to all contenders at the official price approved for May sale.
Concerning Marib crude oil, the committee endorsed selling the full estimated quantity of 1.9 million barrels to Aden Refinery Company at the dated Brent price (without any discount or rise).
