Yemen, AARU review cooperation in higher education

Yemen and the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) reviewed here on Saturday cooperation sides in field of higher education and scientific research as well as ways of promoting them.
Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohammed Mutahar and the AARU Secretary General Sultan Abu Orabi Al-Odwan talked over the situation of higher education and scientific research in the Arab World and difficulties facing them.
The meeting also made reference to the conditions of higher education in Yemen in addition to the Yemeni universities' as well as aspects of future cooperation with the AARU in particular and the Arab universities in general.
Mutahar noted to the steps and procedures taken in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation to achieve a quantum leap in area of higher education in Yemen.
The AARU secretary general showed the association's readiness to cooperate with the Yemeni public and private universities in carrying out the several activities relating to developing them.
