China to partake in restoring Yemen's stability and development

Yemen and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) discussed here on Saturday the joint cooperation to establish a fund to utilize donors' aid to Yemen. The fund will be chaired by Prime Minister with the partnership of donors and the concerned governmental bodies.
This came during a meeting gathered Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa and UNDP resident representative in Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
Basindwa and Ahmed reviewed the objectives expected from the establishment of the fund, particularly to provide job opportunities especially for women in rural areas, and basic services for the most disadvantaged areas.
The Premier affirmed the government's support to the idea of establishing the fund, stressing the importance of making its works absolutely transparent and its adopted measures flawless and unquestionable.
Basindwa urged to expedite the fund's establishment procedures to create economic and development mobility that benefit the Yemenis all over the country.
The UNDP official indicated to the reliable role the fund would play in creating employment opportunities and provide services for the disadvantaged areas.
Ahmed accented that the idea has been successful in many countries, which has established a similar fund in cooperation with the UN.
