President, British envoy review political settlement progress

President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi discussed here on Sunday with British ambassador to Yemen Nicholas Hopton the progress of the political settlement in the country.
Hopton said that Britain watches the developments in Yemen and the level of commitment of all parties to carry out the Gulf initiative without delay.
President Hadi hailed the efforts of the British ambassador, which reflect how strong is the Yemeni-British relations, pointing that the arrangements for the national comprehensive dialogue are moving forward.
The cooperation between the two countries in various areas was also touched on in the meeting, particularly in achieving the political settlement and combating terrorism.
