FM meets with Director of GCC office to Yemen

Foreign Minister Abdu Bakr al-Qirbi met here on Monday with Director of Office of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to Yemen Saad al-Arifi. During the meeting, al-Arifi handed al-Qirbi a copy of the Convention relating to the opening of an office of the GCC Secretariat to Yemen, which is deposited at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting also touched on the efforts made by the Office of the General Secretariat of the GCC in Sana'a to strengthen relations between Yemen and the GCC countries, as well as discussing the latest developments regarding the implementation of the GCC-brokered initiative and its executive mechanism.
