teaching aids delivered to the blind

The Yemeni society for rehabilitating blind people in Hadhramaut Valley received a batch of teaching aids to consolidate the existing educational program . This batch includes four Braille printing machines ,maps of Yemen and the world, copies of Holy Quran and cassette tapes about the principles of Islam and the ethics of dealing with people and educational games. These aids are estimated at a total value of about a million YR from the Social Fund for Development in al-Mukalla.
Asma Alshaqri,director of social protection projects of the Social Fund for Development in Mukalla told the Yemeni news agency Saba that it will also intervene in supporting the educational program for the blind which includes equipping three classes in the society with highly qualified caders and help improve the existing aids and adapt them to the needs of the blind.
