Yemen, UAE discuss enhancing media cooperation The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 30/12/2012

Yemen and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reviewed in Abu Dhabi on Sunday the means to enhance the media cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries. This came in a meeting brought together Yemen News Agency (Saba) chairman and editor Tareq al-Shami and UAE National Media Council (NMC) director general Ibrahim al-Abed.

They discussed strengthening the cooperation between Saba and Emirates News Agency (WAM) in areas of exchange of news photo service, experiences and visits in addition to organizing training courses.

Al-Shami and al-Abed discussed how Saba could benefit from the UAE's experience in technical and journalist fields.

NMC director general expressed the council's readiness to support the Saba's development plans, particularly in training field.
