Yemen is to participate in the 1st Arab conference for Human Rights to
be kicked off in Qatari capital, Doha, on Sunday, December 14.
Upon
her departure, Minister of Human Rights Huda al-Ban said that Yemen
would present in the conference a view on drawing up a covenant of
honor for the civil society organizations working in the human rights
field.
Al-Ban made clear that common standards would be sets
up in the covenant for all civil society organizations concerning
working together to confront all violation against human rights.
The
three-day conference will deal also with the Arab League's draft of the
strategic plan in strengthening human rights and human protection,
al-Ban added.
