UNICEF representative visites Shibam

United Nations UNICEF representative in Yemen Abdou Karim Djbadi visited the sheltering camp of the affected people in the city of Shibam to identify the material damage caused by disastrous floods in the historical city of Shibam.
During the visit, Mr Djbadi listened to a detailed explanation by Mr. Omar Abboud Bin Jubair - Chairman of the central Committee for damages in Shibam about the city of Shibam camp and the extent of damage and suffering in the camp, especially children and women.
At the end of the visit, the representative of the United Nations UNICEF extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Hadhramaut in their disaster.
