Parliament called on Saturday for quick formation of a new government to replace the current caretaker one.
The parliament bound the government to protect the public economic installations and roads, to repair the oil pipeline broken-down due to acts of sabotage by lawless elements, and to secure supply lines of oil, diesel and gas and necessary needs of citizens.This came in the parliament's meeting held on Saturday and devoted for inquiring the government about the level of carrying its responsibilities towards the consolidation of security and stability in the country.In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs Rashad al-Alimi pointed in the meeting to the actions and steps taken by the caretaker government for the sake of that.Al-Alimi emphasized the partnership between the legislative and executive authorities with regard to issues of the homeland and citizens in general.He briefly explained to the parliament the actions undertaken by the caretaker government to provide supplies of fuel for the citizens and to secure their access to the citizens.The government has strategic plans to preserve these materials and provide them for citizens, al-Alimi pointed out.Furthermore, he noted to acts of chaos and sabotage carried out by elements of the opposition joint meeting parties (JMPs), which led to damage to public life and interests of citizens.
