Yemeni Ambassador to Kuwait Khaled
Sheikh has lauded the Kuwaiti relief aid contribution during the crisis which
occurred in Saada province last year.
This came during a speech by the
ambassador at the Yemen embassy which held an event honoring the Kuwaiti
contribution during the crisis, especially the Kuwait Red Crescent Society's
(KRCS) input.The Yemeni ambassador said during
the event, attended by Kuwait Minister of Health Hilal Al-Sayer, that Yemen
would like to thank the Kuwaiti leadership and people for their generous input
and help in helping Yemenis in Saada.Al-Sayer, on his part, lauded the
Yemeni authorities' facilitation of procedures to allow relief aid to reach
those affected by the Saada crisis.Meanwhile, KRCS's Head of
Catastrophe Management Yousif Me'raj affirmed that the society participation in
the aid relief mission was under the guidance of the country's leadership which
saw that it was paramount to help our fellow Yemenis. He stressed that KRCS
would continue to aid those suffering worldwide.
