Agreement to handle medical wastes signed

An agreement was signed on Sunday at more than3 million Euros for setting up and equipping a station of medical hazardous waste treatment for hospitals and health utilities in Aden governorate.
The agreement was signed by Aden governor Adnan al-Jeffri and Director of the Italian Cheza Company for Middle East and North Africa Ayad al-Emlah. Under the agreement, the company will set up and equip the station on an area of 1,300 meters consisting of processing units of thermoelectric and sterilization units equipped with the latest modern technical European standardizations.The administration building consists of means of transport equipped by special containers in transferring medical waste with high-tech cars.The station will collect medical wastes from health utilities which cause a threat to humans and environment to transfer it safely to central processing units to handle medical waste and eliminate the risks in order to turn it into a safe waste.The company will train cadres to operate the station.
