Dr.Ali Mohamed Mujawar - Prime Minister and Chairman reconstruction fund Board for areas affected by 2008 disaster in provinces of Hadhramaut and Al-mahra on Wednesday morning in City of Seiyoun inagurated the strategic project for distributing and planting (250) thousand palm tree seedlings. He was accompanied by Mr. Salim Ahmed Al-Khanbashi Hadhramout Governor and local council president The seedling distributed has propagated tissue to compensate victims of the 2008 disaster in both provinces of Hadramaut and Al-mahara. The launching that took place in the farm of Hadi Hassan Bashegheiwan whose farm was affected by the disaster of 2008. Prime Minister listned to to a detailed explanation from the undersecretary Eng. Abdullah Mohammed Mutaafi Executive Director-Reconstruction Fund in both provinces Hadramaut and Al-Mahara on the project, in which he confirmed that the total palm affected by the disastrous floods in the provinces of Hadramout and A;-mahra numbered more than (600) thousand palm trees and the number of beneficiaries of this project are (4344) affected. He pointed out that the contract has been signed between the Reconstruction Fund and the General Organization for Agricultural Services to supply (250) thousand seedlings palm with international standards and high productivity in compensation to those affected, explaining that they will supply the seedlings in batches through (24) months. Actually 22 thounsends of these seedling have already arrived to the organiztion nuseries in Seiyoun and some of it is ready to be trasported to the site ready for delivery
The inauguration function was attended by Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagahr Assistant Secretary-General of the General People's Congress, members of the Ministerial Committee of the General People's Congress, members of the general and permanent members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, Mr. / Khalid Saeed Al-deini - Secretary-General of the local council, Omaier Mubarak Omair- Hadhramout Undersecretary for Wadi and Sahraa Districts , Engineer Abdullah Ba-ashr Director General Organization for Agricultural Services, a number of general managers branch offices of ministries and a number of engineers, management of reconstruction fund in Wadi Hadhramout.
