Yemen launches wide-scale hunt for al-Qaeda elements

A security source has revealed that there is a wide-scale pursuit operation for al-Qaeda elements in Mayfa'ah district, Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.
The source said that there are ongoing clashes with these terrorist elements, pointing out that these clashes resulted in the wounding of a soldier from the security forces and another from the military forces.The source asserted that the pursuit operation for al-Qaeda elements will continue until these elements are apprehended and brought to justice.On Sunday, three al-Qaeda suspects were killed and others wounded in clashes with the Yemeni anti-terrorism forces in Shabwa.
