Govt approves loan agreement to finance Model 48 Hospital project

The Cabinet approved on Tuesday an agreement of economic and technical cooperation signed with the government of People's Republic of China on July 10, 2010 on a loan of 50 million Yuan to fund the Model 48 Hospital project in Sana'a The Cabinet directed the concerned ministers to follow up the completion of legal and constitutional procedures required for approving the agreement.The loan above would be devoted for constructing an integrated medical building on an area of approximately 10,096 square meters as well as a plant for processing renascent wastes.
The medical building will consist of seven floors, one underground, with a capacity of 120 beds, with a view to promote and develop the level of medical and therapeutic services provided by the hospital for the armed forces personnel in particular and the population in general.
