UNHCR praises Yemen cooperation on refugee issues

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres praised on Thursday Yemen's cooperation on issues of refugees.
In his meeting with Yemen's Permanent Representative to the European Union Abrahim al-Adoufi, Guterres said Yemen is a strong partner of the UN Refugee Agency, pointing to all Yemeni efforts exerted to fulfill international obligations towards helping refugees despite scarce resources and international support.He reiterated the agency's readiness to rally aid to ease all burdens caused by the flow of refugees into Yemen.For his part, al-Adoufi appreciated the UNHCR's initiative, reiterating Yemen's readiness to further cooperate on refugee issues.
