Charitable Heart Foundation Hadhramaut concludes its second campaign cardiac catheterization and therapeutic interventional for children in Mukalla
Under the slogan (towards alleviating the suffering of patients with heart Disease) the International Islamic Relief Association of the Islamic world in coordination with the Charitable Heart Foundation -Hadhramaut - Mukalla concluded its second campaign for cardiac catheterization and interventional treatment for children . Charitable Heart Foundation -Hadhramaut concludes its second Medical camp Under the slogan (towards alleviating the suffering of patients with heart Disease) the International Islamic Relief Association of the Islamic world in coordination with the Charitable Heart Foundation -Hadhramaut - Mukalla concluded its second campaign for cardiac catheterization and interventional treatment for children from 13 to 17 February, 2010 at Ibn Sina University Teaching Hospital Hadhramout in the central catheter -- under the supervision of elite Children's Heart specialists chaired by Professor Jamil Abdul Aziz Atta consultant pediatric cardiologist at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Dr. Mohammad Ali Hammadi, Paediatric cardiologist and Dr. Mohamed Shamsan Children's Heart Specialist both Al-thawra Hospital Sana'a . The campaign in the Heart sction of Ibna Siana Hospital with screening patients free of charge Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, thhe those cases requiring catheterization interferometric remedial workis highlighted and were performed at the catheter unit of University Hospital by Professor Jamil Abdul Aziz Atta and crew of Cath Lab and cases that need surgery were sorted later.
Number o patient were 90 ,out of these 16 were were processed for catheter interventional therapeutic and diagnostic and 32 were refered for surgical intervention.
This campaign is a continuation of previous one ,done last month 11/01/2010, which lasted for two days under the supervision of Professor Jamil Abdul Aziz Atta and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-radhian consultant pediatrician cardiologist at Prince Sultan center for heart surgery treatement in Riyadh. In this campaign campaign (96 )patients were secreened , (11) out of these have been given therapeutic catheter interferometric and (22) others were submitted to the Saudi German Hospital for surgical intervention and the rest of the cases were given followup. the follow-up.
It is also worth to mention that the institution in conjunction with the activities of the 7th Yemeni Heart symposium that took place in Mukalla on 10-12th February, 2009, several sick children were screened by visiting doctors from overseasm Dr. Mohammed Bamashmous from Italy, Dr. Shabib Al-haadhry from America, Dr. Mark from Canada and they were joined by Dr. Hussein Al-jufri a paedtrician from Mukalla.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-abd Rubeyah Ba-musa Director -Office of Health and Population in Hadhramout paid a visit to the campaign staff, while inspecting the work carried out by the charity Society that serves as a distinct and help to reduce the target subsidized patients, thanking the organization and based on this good work for their efforts and also thanked the doctors for their presence and dedication service to this noble humanitarian work and stressed the support for each and submitted the necessary facilities for the success of the carrier, was accompanied during his visit, Dr. Salim ßäíĎ Obathany General Manager of Ibn Sina Hospital in the central educational, and notified them, Mr. Mohamed Awad Basaib Chairman Heart Foundation charity on the results of the campaign and provided them with a progress report on its work, and situations that have been inspected and subjected to catheterization and interventional therapeutic or diagnostic catheter, or has been arranged for them to receive surgery later
Furthermore, Dr. Al-abd Rubeyah Ba-musa Director Office of Health and Population in Hadramout paid avisit to the campaign and met with the staff. on his tour he praised the work carried out by the society t serves as a distinct and a great help topatients,. He thaned the organization and based on this good work for their efforts also thanked the doctors for their presence and dedication service to this noble humanitarian work and stressed the support for each andto give all the necessary facilities for the success of the noble work. He was accompanied by Dr. salim Keneid Al-obathany General Manager of Ibn Sina General and TeachingHospital Later they were briefed .
