Ministry of Education in Yemen, has announced the start of the new academic year 2009 /2010 after the holy month of Ramadan in all schools in
all governorates. Minister of education Dr Abdul Salam Aljaufi in an exclusive statement to (26 September) said that the study for a new school year will begin after the holy month of Ramadan. ,The governing bodies of all schools and offices of education in all provinces and districts will begin work in the latter half of the month of Ramadan. He expected the new studemts for registration to be more than 700 thousand in the first year of the basic stage of the academic year 2009-2010 , he said, adding that the process of final School certificate examination for public and secondary is going on Normaly.
