Indian Ocean countries conference to be kicked off on Saturday

Conference of the League of Countries Overlooking Indian Ocean (LCOIO) is to be started on Saturday in Sana'a.
A number of issues such as commercial, economic and technological issues will dominate the conference's agenda with the participation of representatives of the 18-member state League to implement the League objectives at establishment in 1997 in order to achieve sustainable growth. Officials at the Foreign Ministry say that the importance of the conference stems from the inserted issues in the League agenda which focuses on reinforcing the role of the League secretariat to implement the defined tasks and goals as well as agreement set to be signed in the fields of encouraging investment, commercial exchange and technology cooperation.
