The 3rd phase of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) training
program launched today, Sunday in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The three-year training program aimed to train Yemeni engineers, officials and technicians in charge of managing water resources.
The program helped training 142 cadres of the General Authority of Countryside Water over three successive years. They received professional training in technical and managerial spheres.
The Acting Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq Asharjabi voiced gratitude to the JICA's efforts that have been very helpful for Yemen.
