Kuwait praises Yemen's efforts in Human rights protection

Kuwait has praised Yemen's efforts of Human rights protection and combating corruption due to what constitutes Yemen in these two fields.This welcome came out when a Kuwait Permanent delegation to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva advisor Najeeb Abdul-Rahman al-Bader when he delivered a statement in Geneva's participation a session of the Universal periodic review (UPR) mechanism of Human rights council.He said that Yemen has signed most of the agreements and UN Convention against corruption as it established an independent Authority to combat corruption beside its realization of the dangers of corruption on society and development.Al-Bader also called on the international community to support Yemen's efforts and increase technical assistance to complete its role to combat financial and administrative corruption.Al-Bader also hailed the mechanism in which Yemen's national report on human rights situations was prepared, pointing out that Yemen realized the importance of stressing all economic, social, cultural, political and civil rights. Noteworthy, the (Universal periodic review(UPR) is regarded one of the main duties of Human rights records representing Human rights situations in all countries' members to the United Nations that held every four years.
