Undersecretary - Hadhramout Province in charge of
coastal Districts Mr. Hatim Awadh abdalla today morning opened book fair and software Exhibition in the city of Mukalla, organized by the General Authority for publication of books together with other forty local and Arab publishers.
The exhibition, which lasts until April thirtieth of the current month, it includes 50,000 , titles in areas of humanities, cultural and software in addition to areas containing books for children and families. He appreciated the efforts of the General Authority for the hard work in establishing this exhibition, that will allow for an exchange of cultural opportunity for students, researchers and writers interested in acquisition and gaining extra knowledge from various sciences and education books available. The undersecretary also called for educational institutions, and cultural institutions to interact with this cultural event and to contribute to the cultural awareness among the community. The Director-General of the branch of the General Authority for a book Mr. Abdulhakim Saleh Bin Gadim mentioned that while the exhibition is going on, there will be other cultural events in cooperation within the framework of the unions of literary and cultural in the province. These events will include, seminars and lectures highlighting the importance of the book in public life
