SP meets Yemeni community members in Ethiopia
met here on Saturday with numbers of the Yemeni Community in Ethiopia.
In the meeting, al-Rae'i was briefed on the social activities carried out by the Yemeni community as well as the nature of relationship with Yemeni embassy in Addis Ababa.He also expressed his satisfaction on the role played by the community in developing the relation with Ethiopia, affirming the need to strengthen cooperation between the community and the embassy.On the other hand, the Parliament Speaker met, on the sidelines of the 120th conference of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), with a number of parliaments' heads and delegations participating in the conference.Al-Rae'i discussed with them development of parliamentary cooperation between Yemeni Parliament and the parliaments of other countries participated in the conference.It is worth to mention that the IPU conference came up with issuing a number of decisions and recommendations relating to the affairs of the promotion of public freedoms, human rights and providing perspectives to overcome the
global financial crisis as well as the importance of international partnership in achieving these goals
