Woman's rights in NDC's outcomes discussed

Minister of State for Implementing the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes Ghaleb Mutlaq discussed Monday with the representatives of female and civil society communities woman's conditions within these outcomes.
The government will work on supporting woman until she gets her natural status in accordance with texts of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), said Mutlaq.
He noted that some of these texts have been included in the draft constitution to be published during the forthcoming few days.
The government will increase woman and youth's participation in political decision making and occupying leading jobs in the state bodies to 30 percent for woman and 20 percent for youth in accordance with NDC's outcomes, said the minister.
He demanded the civil society organizations to focus efforts on rising social awareness on the importance of partnership between man and woman and to intensify their programs to limit negative culture stilly dominating some social sectors.
Women sector representatives confirmed in their discussions necessity of demanding woman's rights in the future and forming working groups to follow up decision- makers to implement the NDC's outcomes in addition to making public opinion supporting woman until she gains her status in the society.
