Hadramout and al-Maharah governorates held on Thursday a meeting headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar over issues related with efforts of rebuilding the affected regions in the two governorates which were hit by flood in October, 2008. The meeting discussed a report presented by the Minister of Public Works and Roads over executive and technical steps taken to rebuild houses in coordination with the local authorities in both governorates. The minister said in the report that designs of rebuilding houses were done, adding that there is technical term was starting to make a plan for the area determined to set up houses for affected citizens. He made it clear that several roads have been rehabilitated such as al-Ghaidah-Nashton raod, saying that the ministry agreed with the Arab Fund for Development to finance a project of building several bridges in the regions in addition to agreement with World Bank at sum of $ 24 million to rehabilitate roads in Hadramout governorate.
