Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Hamid Al Awadi met here on Wednesday with charg� d'affaires of the British embassy in Yemen Alison Kemp. The two officials' meeting dealt with a number of cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in addition to the current arrangements for the coming ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Yemen to be held in New York in September, on the sidelines of the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly. They also made reference to the latest developments in Amran province and the humanitarian conditions there. Al Awadi hailed Saudi Arabia for hosting the New York's meeting and the efforts of the United Kingdom to prepare it, stressing the importance of the meeting in order to go out with the desired results. For her part, Kemp affirmed that her country will spare no effort in providing support for Yemen and to success the work of the Friends of Yemen.
