Interior Minister meets ambassadors of Sudan, Tunisia, Indonesia

Interior Minister Abdo al-Tarib on Tuesday met separately the ambassadors of Sudan, Tunisia and Indonesia accredited to Yemen. During the meetings, the Minister discussed the cooperation relations between Yemen and each country of them, especially in the security area, and ways of developing and enhancing them.
The Interior Minister confirmed that Yemen is keen to strengthen the cooperation relations with the three countries in the security field.
In turn, the ambassadors assured the keenness of their countries to enhance the bilateral cooperation relations with Yemen in all areas, including the security area.
On the other hand, the Interior Minister discussed here with Head of Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to Yemen, Cedric Schweizer, the relations of cooperation and coordination between the Interior Ministry and the ICRC in the humanitarian aspect and the aid that can provided to the Yemeni security services, especially with regard to the rehabilitation of prisons and prisoners and improvement of detention conditions.
Al-Tarib assured the continuation of cooperation in supporting the humanitarian activities and tasks carried out by the ICRC in Yemen and facilitating the difficulties that might stand before them.
For his part, the ICRC's official alluded the Ministry's cooperation, confirming that the ICRC is keen to enhance the partnership relations with the Ministry in the humanitarian aspect.
