The National Dialogue Conference (NDC) continued on Monday the second
plenary session ,under the chairmanship of Mohammed Qahtan on behalf of
the Deputy President of the Conference Abdulwahab al-Aansi.
The session was interrupted with a vigil by representatives of
Ansarullah to protest against the confrontations that took place
yesterday in front of the National Security in the capital Sana’a, and
resulted in the killing of 10 persons and injuring more than one hundred
according to a statement issued by Ansarullah.
In this regard,
President of the session announced that the NDC demands the government
to form a partial and independent committee to investigate into the
events of yesterday in front of the National Security.
After
that, head of the working group on good governance at the NDC, Afrah
Badoilan, reviewed a summary of the final report of the group work for
the first phase.
Badoilan pointed that the outputs of the group
include 30 proposed texts for the new constitution, while the decision
has been postponed in 70 other texts to the group meetings during the
coming period.
The report included draft resolutions approved by
the team, taking into account the outputs of the dialogue in the State
building and South issue teams.
The report also included a
constitutional clarification stipulated that the principles of good
governance include accountability, transparency, responsiveness,
equality and justice, efficiency and effectiveness, the rule of law,
expanding participation and internal consensus.
