Drw conducted in Kuwait put Yemen in the second set for the Seventh West Asian football Championship.
The WAFF 7th men Championship 2012 draw took place at Movenpick hotel in Kuwait city on Sunday.

Hosts Kuwait will play in Group A along side with Oman, Lebanon and Palestine.

11 teams will be playing in the championship between 8-20 December 2012 in Kuwait .

There will be 3 groups, with top team from each group alongside with best second-placed team qualifying for the semi-finals.

The groups:
- Group A: Kuwait (hosts), Oman, Lebanon, Palestine.
- Group B: Iran, Bahrain, Yemen, Saudi Arabia.
- Group C: Iraq, Syria, Jordan.
