UN Security Council decides unanimously to support Yemen

Envoy of the UN's Secretary-General, Jamal bin Omar, confirmed on Saturday that the Security Council decided unanimously and in an unprecedented way to support Yemen to take it out of its crisis.
During his meeting with President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi ,the UN official said that there are strenuous and serious measures to support the Yemeni political settlement based on the Gulf initiative and its Mechanism.
President Hadi expressed his satisfaction with and appreciation for the great efforts being made to take out Yemen of the crisis and the difficult conditions to safety. "The will of the international community has been successfully translated in the success of the political settlement in Yemen", said Hadi. He touched on the importance of concerted efforts at the national, regional and international levels ,so as to create the appropriate climate for the national dialogue conference, which will address all files and issues. Furthermore, President Hadi reviews with bin Omar the victories achieved by the armed forces in Abyan and Shabwa provinces against the forces of evil and terror forces, stressing the importance of cooperation and partnership in combating the cross-border terrorism.
