The Fourth pediatric cardiac catheter interventional treatment kicked off today in Mukalla Hadhramaut Province.. The therapeutic campaign organized by Heart charity Foundation in coordination with the Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital and the cardiac catheterization unit at the University hospital will run for three day. Professor Atta said May Allah reward those in-charge of the Heart charity Foundation their efforts in coordinating and organizing these therapeutic campaigns.
Ba-shuaib confirmed that the campaign included the observation,screening and
examining 150 childeren with heart problems and conducting catheter treatment for patients with heart problems as well as the closure of arterial channels and openings between the atria and the expansion valve. The work was done in three three consecutive days so as to alleviate the suffering of children with heart problems in the province of Hadhramaut, At the same time and during the campaign there will screening of adults of with heart problems by Dr. Professor Abdul-nasser Menibari Consultant heart disease and blood vessels.specialist.
He added that the Foundation is working to implement many of the campaigns in future on the treatment of heart disease in children and adults as well. This campaign will be done in Hadhramaut and neighboring provinces to alleviate the suffering of patients as well as Provide the foundation with required and needed equipments and devices to diagnose heart diseases in the near future.
