Hadi, U.S. Ambassador discuss developments on the national arena

Deputy President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi met on Sunday in Sana'a with the U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Fire Stein.
During the meeting, they discussed the overall developments on the national arena, particularly between political parties and the results of the UN Secretary General's Advisor Jamal Ben Omar during his visit to Yemen and his consultations and meetings with various parties.
They also exchanged ideas about urgent solutions for the political impasse in Yemen.
The Vice President invoked all to pursue the supreme national interest so as to maintain security and stability of the nation without compromising it on the brink of dangers and voilence. Hadi said the recent confrontations between security forces and al-Qaeda organization in Abyan province, led to inflict the terrorist elements of al -Qaeda organisation heavy losses in lives and equipment. The U.S. Ambassador to Yemen affirmed the U.S stance towards Yemen to resolve the political impasse through possible means and the joint cooperation in the field of fighting terrorism.
