Yemen welcomes US support for GCC initiative

A Yemeni official source welcomed on Sunday the statement of US White House spokesman Jay Carney supporting the initiative of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to solve the political impasse in Yemen peacefully. We have already welcomed the GCC's initiative and we announce now our commitment to it as a whole and in the framework of the Yemeni constitution", the source said. Earlier, The USA, European Union (EU), Arab League and some Arab and foreign countries have welcomed the initiative of GCC to address the ongoing impasse in Yemen
