Yemen's ambassador to Egypt Abdul-Wali al-Shameri met on Thursday in Asyut city of Egypt the Yemeni students' committee in Asyut University.
Al-Shameri was briefed by the committee on the students' problems and difficulties facing them, affirming that the Yemeni embassy would coordinate with Ministries of Higher Education in Yemen and Egypt to facilitate all difficulties.The students congratulated the ambassador on his escape of an attempt targeted his car by some mercenaries and bandits, who looted all contents of the ambassador's car and an escort car.The ambassador expressed confident that the security services in Asyut would pursue the perpetrators and arrest them, praising the security services' efforts and attention in the issue.
