PM briefed on YCSR's situation

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar was briefed Monday on the situation of Yemen Center for Studies and Research (YCSR) in Sana'a and its activities. Mujawar listened to an explanation by President's Cultural Advisor Abdul-Aziz al-Maqaleh on requirements of improving the center and its scientific and cultural role in serving decision-makers and society, in light of the directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the center's rehabilitation.Al-Maqaleh pointed to the size of scientific and literary publications issued by the center during the last period and its remarkable contributions to the enrichment of the cultural reality as well as studies and researches issued by the center.The premier instructed Ministry of Public Works and Roads and Department of Military Works at Ministry of Defense, to quickly review the studies and designs for the rehabilitation of building of the center and submit the requirements of the rehabilitation during a maximum period of a month for studying and adoption of the implementation mechanism.In this regard, Mujawar confirmed the keenness to expedite the start of the rehabilitation as soon as possible in this year.He valued the center's distinct and important role in the development of knowledge and research through various periodical and regular publications, which represent basic references and sources for scholars, researchers and readers interested in Yemen's affairs.
