India determined to establish hospital in Taiz

Indian ambassador to Yemen Ausaf Sayeed affirmed on Friday that the Indian government is determined to establish a hospital for motherhood and childhood in Taiz at a cost of USD 20 million.
The hospital would be established in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the local authority, in addition to provision of 50 scholarships for training and rehabilitation in various needs, the ambassador said.This came during a meeting gathered Taiz Governor Hamoud al-Sofi and the Indian ambassador, who discussed areas of cooperation and the aid that can be provided by India to Taiz province especially in the health aspect.Sayeed pointed to the importance of coordination and communication between Taiz University and Taiz Commercial and Industrial Chamber and their counterparts in India and experiences exchange in different areas, particularly in the area of small enterprises.During the meeting, al-Sofi praised the historical relations between the two countries, voicing the appreciation of the local authority in Taiz for India's contributions to development areas in Yemen. Al-Sofi gave Sayeed the shield of Taiz province in recognition of his role in the promotion and development of relations.
