Hadhramaout Governorate security committee in its meeting held today in Mukalla discussesed Al-sheher terrorist incident.
The session was chaired by Provincial Governor-Committee Chairman, Salim Ahmed Al-Khanbashi. It discussed in details the ciriminal terrorist act that took place yesterday in Al-sheher disrict involving vehicle from Post and Postal Savings General Authority Hadramout region and the security team assigned to protect them. The criminal incident resulted in the deaths of four members of the public security - Sgt Rubeya Saleh Al Jabri, Assistant Ali Salem Bin Junaid, soldier Haitham Mohammed Saad, soldier Naif Ahmad Haj Ba-hebri and Chief Financial Officer-Hadhramout post office, Omar Saeed Al-Amoudi, the injured are Jumaan Mahfoudh Ba-khereisa, Ahmed Sheikh Al-mallahi all staff management of Hadhramaut postal Authority and soldier Hadi Abdulrahman Abul-hadi subeit receive multiple injuries. At the outset of the meeting members read (Suratul-Faita) The openining Chapter of the Holy Quraan on the lives of martyrs, they confirmed further that the relevant security agencies and investigators search the perpetrators of this heinous deplorable crime which is is new to the being denounced by all Yemeni homeland in the forefront - sons of Hadramout. The secutity appartus will arrest the involved perpetrators of this heinous deplorable crime soon at the earlist and soonwill bring to justic them to justice to be punished just as they have done this criminal act that is not approved by any religion. Pointing out that this cowardly terrorist act is condemned and denounced by various institutions and segments of society, which aims to undermine security and stability enjoyed by the province, thanking all activities done the community of scholars and sheikhs and civil society organizations and all people of the province to cooperate with the security services and assist them in their hard quest to capture these elements and malevolent as to enhance the security and public order in the Province. He called on all citizens toavail any information that may be useful in searching and investigating in the arrest of these criminals and outlaws terrorist
The Committee stressed on the importance of taking several preventive measures, including full awareness and do their utmost so that such incidents does not recur re again such new means of security movement of funds from one area to another and tighten security measures at banks, shops selling gold jewelry and the public markets.
