President Ali Abdullah Saleh is to preside on Saturday over a meeting of the cabinet and the governors, the weekly 26 September said Thursday.

The meeting will address the situations in the national arena, topped by the implementation progress in the development projects, expenditure rationalization and the ways to improve the economic and development sectors, raise the standards of living and to combat unemployment and poverty.President Saleh will be briefed on the security situation in the country, arrangements for upcoming parliamentary elections and achievements of the president's platform.
